Aira Group AB (often referred to as Aira) is a Stockholm-based startup founded in 2022 with a clear mission: to help ordinary homes replace expensive and polluting gas and oil boilers with modern, energy-efficient heat pumps and other smart energy solutions. Aira offers a complete home energy ecosystem - from heat pumps and solar panels to battery storage, smart control systems and tailored energy supplier agreements - all packaged into a monthly fee without the need for large initial investments. They have already raised over €240 million in venture and debt financing, and plan to manufacture up to half a million heat pumps per year from their factory in Wrocław, Poland.
