Repli5 is an innovative company based in Gothenburg, born out of Chalmers research. They’ve built technologies such as RealSim™ and Simlix Drive™ that generate synthetic and augmented images using generative AI - ideal when real data is scarce or for edge cases that are hard to capture in the physical world.

Importantly, they don’t just deliver data - they provide 3D worlds, CAD‑to‑RGB images and complete proofs of concept. Whether it’s for autonomous vehicles, industrial robots in smart factories or defense applications, they help train a machine’s perception when real-world samples are limited.

Recently they secured more than SEK 3.6 million in funding from Vinnova for a project aimed at accelerating vision systems in the automotive industry, covering areas such as defect detection and automated material handling. It’s a clear sign that their vision is gaining momentum.
