About Grafana

Grafana is designed to make it easy to connect, visualize, and monitor data from almost any source - from time-series databases to logs and tracing systems. You build interactive dashboards with panels and alert rules directly in the browser and share real-time insights with your team.

It is a plugin-friendly framework where both the community and companies contribute integrations for databases, tools, and systems - everything from Prometheus and Loki to Elasticsearch and Graphite. If you want to store dashboards as code, features like Git Sync support CI/CD workflows.

As an open source project (AGPL), Grafana is free to use, but there are enterprise and cloud offerings with additional features such as incident management, SLO monitoring, and integrated alert handling for organizations that need a managed observability solution.
